Traditional sarees of Bengal

Traditional sarees of Bengal are Cotton Sarees, Tant Sarees and nowadays the very famous, that is Handloom sarees. Bengal women like to wear the Sarees which are soft and easy to handle. We are the Bengali spend 9 months of summer season.

Last 10 years ago the only Tand cotton sarees was the only designer traditional sarees among the Bengali women. The development of technology presently Bengali women are wearing Handloom sarees and soft cotton sarees.

Last few years ago the Handloom sarees are made by hand weaved machine. But now the automatic machine comes for making handloom sarees. Due to the machine made sarees the cost of sarees are also affordable now.

So finally The Tant sarees was the only one traditional saree from Bengal. Now Handloom saree and Cotton sarees have also enlisted the group of traditional sarees.

Now the question is that where from the traditional sarees made in Bengal? The famous name is Fulia and Shantipur. These two places are very famous for making Cotton and Tant Sarees.

Due to the cost-effective internet connection all over the Bengal, the weaved got energy for making the Latest design of Sarees and promote through Facebook and other social media.
